New Austerlitz 1805 Exhibition

General Information

Experience history with all your senses

Experience history with all your senses and step directly into the largest battle to ever shake the Czech lands.

The town of Slavkov u Brna will open on May 6 a modern exhibition titled Austerlitz 1805, which will take place on May 6 on the premises of the Slavkov – Austerlitz Castle.

The new exhibition brings a unique connection between history and state-of-the-art technology. A key element is the use of the latest artificial intelligence capabilities, allowing visitors to literally meet Napoleon Bonaparte and engage in a dialogue with him. The interactive system allows you to ask questions and receive answers in real time—whether about the Battle of Austerlitz, his personal life, or the broader context of Napoleonic Europe.

The exhibition also includes a unique model of the battle itself, which tells the story of the Austerlitz clash in a clear and engaging way, including its impact on soldiers and local residents. Leading Czech historians participated in the preparation of the content, overseeing factual accuracy while also bringing specific human stories from the region—including the fates of figures for whom the battle had fatal consequences.
